    A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A PUBLIC & DONOR RELATIONS SPECIALIST/ MARKETING ASSISTANT

    The position is responsible for assisting with public and donor relations activities of the agency. The Public & Donor Relations Specialist will report to the Manager of Public Relations & Marketing and will support the agency in all external and internal communications efforts including research and writing grants to support the agency and other requested support for the Fund Development and Special Events Department.


    QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PUBLIC & DONOR RELATIONS SPECIALIST /MARKETING ASSISTANT

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations related field.
    • 1-3 years of experience in public relations/marketing preferred.
    • Must have excellent skills in written and verbal communications.
    • Must be fluent in desktop publishing programs and Microsoft Office 365.
    • Experience in Canva or design software preferred.
    • Experience in eTapestry/Blackbaud, Give Smart and/or other special event software preferred.
