Public Relations Director directs and implements a company's public relations strategies. Manages media relations, announcements, editorial placement, and speaking opportunities. Being a Public Relations Director evaluates and authorizes all forms of communication regarding the organization for release to the public. Develops press releases, white papers and supporting materials. Additionally, Public Relations Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Public Relations Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Public Relations Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Sub-acute / Long Term Care Facility – Concierge
- Coordinate the process of new admissions to the facility in a friendly, compassionate manner.
- Be the primary customer service resource for the building and areas where the residents/patients are directly affected.
- Facilitate customer satisfaction surveys to residents/guests and family members where appropriate.
- Assist staff members to ensure the resident’s/patient’s needs are met.
- Communicate with residents and family members to ensure that they are receiving services as requested and to ascertain any additional needs.
- Must have time managment.
Skills necessary
- Customer service
- 2-4 years of experience in customer relations in healthcare; more specifically in a long-term care setting.
- Bilingual (spanish)
- Proficient in excel, word and outlook
