The Director of Alumnae/i and Parent Relations plays a pivotal role in maintaining and nurturing the bond between Santa Catalina School and its former students, their families, and current parents. This position’s responsibilities encompass alumnae/i and parent engagement, effective communication, and database management. The position collaborates in supporting events and activities, fostering a sense of community among graduates and parents. This role supports the Development team’s fundraising initiatives.
The Director of Alumnae/i and Parent Relations oversees the development and coordination of comprehensive programs to engage, involve, solicit, and steward Santa Catalina School’s over 5,000 alumnae/i and their families. The Director also serves as the school liaison to the Alumnae Council of the Alumnae Association and the Executive Council of the Parents Association to further activities designed to engage and deepen relationships with school families. Reporting to the Director of Development, the Director of Alumnae/i and Parent Relations works with various internal and external stakeholders invested in the alumnae/i and parent networks and collaborates with the Development team to develop marketing strategies to foster and sustain lifelong connections among constituents and to the school. By measuring program success and collaborating with other departments, the Director of Alumnae/i and Parent Relations ensures Santa Catalina School benefits from strong alumnae/i and parent connections, creating a vibrant and supportive network for past and present students and each other.
