The Public Relations Coordinator serves as a resource to the Director of Marketing Communications and Philanthropy uses a market wide approach to improve internal and external communications enhance reputation and to position services to best match community needs across the community served by Mark Twain Medical Center. In collaboration with the Director the Coordinator is responsible for supporting the staff within CSH for the purpose of implementing internal and external strategies and standards. The Coordinator is responsible for development and maintenance of effective mechanisms for internal and external communications within CSH targeted to key constituencies to ensure knowledge of key changes and developments in the hospital and for the Foundation overall. The Coordinator serves as point of contact with the system and service area offices. Coordinates meetings events and other arrangements with Mark Twain Medical Center CSH Divisional Office and CSH Corporate Office. Attends meetings and maintains contracts reports and corporate and administrative records for Mark Twain Medical Center and Mark Twain Medical Center Foundation. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support the Organizations

• Three years experience in communications planning and implementation.
  
• BA or BS degree in journalism communications or related.
