Public School Teacher jobs in Lincoln, NE
Public School Teacher prepares lesson plans and instructs students in an assigned school. Develops and implements grade appropriate course work, activities, and assessments to meet the academic needs of children in a K-12 classroom setting. Being a Public School Teacher evaluates and monitors student's performance. Assesses and documents students' progress. Additionally, Public School Teacher participates in development and implementation of Individual Education Plans for specific students. Resolves classroom issues and conflicts. May participate in implementing special programs for students. May supervise teaching assistants. Requires a bachelor's degree. May require specific state-level teaching license. Typically requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Typically reports to a principal. The Public School Teacher occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. To be a Public School Teacher typically requires 2 -4 years of related experience. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

Come join our Middle School team serving students in a Class C school district that has great community and parental support. Our K-12 enrollment is 550. We are looking for someone that loves kids, is positive, energetic, engaging, great at building relationships, communicates well with students, parents, and other staff, is able to use data to guide instruction, and seeks to use best practices. Coaching and other sponsorships are available including Head Volleyball, but not required. Fillmore Central is in Geneva, Nebraska. We are an hour west of Lincoln.Must have a current Nebraska Teaching Certificate with appropriate endorsements. Middle Level Endorsement or 7-12 English Endorsement will be accepted.
Base for 2024-2025 is $40,000. All experience accepted for our Salary Schedule. Full Family $1050/$3,800 Dual Option Blue Cross/Blue Shield Insurance Plan.
