About the Position:
The Transportation Surveyor position works under the direct supervision of a Senior Transportation Surveyor or Transportation Surveyor Party Chief, as a member of a field survey crew or in an office setting performing a wide variety of professional land surveying tasks. The incumbent may function as a lead person over the activities of various surveying and technical personnel in the field. A licensed Transportation Surveyor, will be in "responsible charge" of their work as defined in the Land Surveyors' Act, and may be called upon to act as a lead person in "responsible charge" of the technical work of other rank and file employees. Possession of a valid driver’s license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle.
