Description
Baker & Murakami Produce is looking for Quality Control Inspectors. Responsible for performing inspections, checks, and tests on product to ensure that all outbound product meet standards of quality and safety. Produce (Onion) experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate. Pay is DOE
Requirements
Pay close attention to detail.
Must be able to stand long hours, in a variety of conditions that include cold environment.
Be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
Follow instructions and guidelines given by the USDA.
Communicate with shift leaders and USDA Inspectors.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Onion outbound/inbound QC inspections.
Onion inventory control.
Communicate clearly all issues found in QC checks.
Work daily with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
Minimum Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the US.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Legible handwriting.
Must be able to maintain a positive and professional attitude.
Must be flexible with working schedule.
Must be available for overtime hours as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Fruit/Vegetables quality control or inspection.
Familiarity with product specifications and expectations.
