Mentors and guides leaders on the team. Additionally, Publications Generalist Manager acts as a liaison with other departments. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Publications Generalist Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Publications Generalist Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Some evening clinical sessions possible. Applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent and a Master’s degree in nursing or in another discipline with six graduate hours in nursing. Applicant must hold a current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Texas, be CPR certified, and have a demonstrated clinical competence in the practice of nursing with a minimum of three years’ recent experience in professional nursing. Prior teaching experience with documented expertise in teaching, learning methods, and retention strategies preferred. This position covers health insurance at 100% for employee. Additional optional coverages includes dental, vision, AD&D, life insurance, and long- and short-term disability. Other benefits include retirement under the Teacher Retirement System of Texas or Optional Retirement Program, accrued sick leave, paid holidays, and an employee reimbursement/dependent scholarship program. Health benefits require a 60-day employment period.
