FINANCE GENERALIST
The City of Yankton is seeking qualified applicants for a Finance Generalist in the Finance Office.
This person completes duties on a rotating shift split between the following:
1) Cash Register/ Utilities/Accounts Receivable
2) Records/Elections/Special Projects/Backfill
3) Accounts Payable/Licenses
This position requires knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices, knowledge of standard office procedures and practices; skill in providing customer service, use of personal computers and related software; and establishing cooperative work relationships with those contacted during work.
This position is regular full-time which requires a high school diploma or GED; three years accounting, bookkeeping, records management, customer service, and/or clerical experience. An associates degree in accounting or financial management or equivalent work experience is preferred. The salary for this position is $48,794 to $61,773 (Range 32) per year, plus benefits.
