Publications Generalist Manager manages the creation and execution of content prepared by editing team that is used in company publications. Reviews and approves proposed editorial policies and standards. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Publications Generalist Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Job PurposeProvide support to the HR department to help drive business objectives in all areas of Human Resources.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assist with recruitment activities which includes setting up interviews and processing offer letters.
- Assist with onboarding and orientation of new hires.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment when dealing with critical matters within the HR department.
- All other duties as assigned by manager.
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
Knowledge of human resources regulations, state and federal employment law, and relevant administration practices.
Competent computer skills in MS Office.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of ATS and HRIS systems is highly desirable but not required.
PHR/SHRM-CP desired but not required.General Job Requirements- This position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands.
