Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will play a key part in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery, equipment, and systems - Conduct regular inspections to identify any potential issues or areas that require maintenance - Respond promptly to maintenance requests from various departments - Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks in a timely manner - Utilize schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals to assist in troubleshooting and repairs - Fabricate or modify parts as needed using appropriate tools and equipment - Conduct preventative maintenance activities to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment - Assist with low voltage electrical work as necessary - Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, document repairs, and maintain accurate records - Manage projects related to facility improvements or equipment upgrades - Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols - Supervise contractors or external service providers when necessary Experience: - Proven experience in industrial maintenance or facilities management - Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and general building maintenance practices - Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) is preferred - Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals - Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively - Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
