Job Description
Summary:

• This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets associated with pork processing while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson's policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot facility and equipment problems that occur in the day-to-day operations.
• Perform work that involves hydraulics, electrical, plumbing, conveyor maintenance, 3-phase wiring, AC/CD control wiring, welding, and pneumatic systems.
• Set up, adjust, and break down production machinery.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance duties.
• Read and understand equipment manuals and instructions.
• Complete daily reports and paperwork.
• Work environments are wet and humid.
• Temperatures range from 35 to 90 degrees.
• Work includes climbing ladders, working from elevated platforms, standing, and walking on hard floors, and occasional lift of 60 lbs.
• All shifts include Sunday work and overtime as scheduled.
• Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
• RequirementsApplication and/or resume must show a minimum of 6 months experience and/or training in one of the following areas: Mechanical troubleshooting, Electrical/Electronic Troubleshooting, Hydraulic Troubleshooting, PLC Troubleshooting and Navigation, Welding/Fabrication, AC/DC Control Wiring, Motor Control, 3 Phase Wiring, Plumbing, Conveyor Maintenance, Hydraulics, Pneumatic systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
