Fortis Homes is a privately owned and production minded home builder, seeking a full time punch list technician experienced in interior and exterior residential construction projects. Fortis Homes and its affiliated entities are growing rapidly and need hard working, energetic candidates looking for professional growth and challenging opportunities. The communities are located in Port Aransas and just outside of Rockport.      Reliable transportation to both communities required.

Requirements

• Essential duties and responsibilities are, but are not limited to:
• Knowledge and experience in interior trim carpentry required.
• Appropriate tools of the trade are required.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the job sites.
• Must be able to move, lift, and carry objects weighing approximately 50 pounds without assistance.
• Must be willing to work in either community as needed.
• Occasionally,  projects must be completed with short notice and in extreme time constraints.
• Must be capable of working in physically demanding environments indoors and outdoors.
• Must be willing and able to operate construction and hand tools in a safe, proper manner.
• Knowledge of multiple construction disciplines a plus.
• Ability to work with a high level of quality is a must.
• Must be dependable with a personal commitment to team environment, safety, customer satisfaction and total quality management.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a drug screen.
