Introduction: Join our team at Central Moloney as a Press Operator, where you will play a vital role in operating thermoplastic injection molding equipment and thermoset transfer and compression molding equipment. Your dedication to following process procedures ensures the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing processes.

*** This shift works 3:30 pm - midnight. Training may be conducted from 7 am - 3:30 pm.  Please note these times and your availability before applying. Thanks! ***

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate thermoplastic injection molding equipment and thermoset transfer and compression molding equipment according to written process procedures.
• Monitor and record data related to presses and associated equipment as required for some jobs.
• Inspect parts for cosmetic flaws and perform tasks such as de-gating, de-flashing, patching, and transporting to specific work centers.
• Complete production cards detailing gross production, rejects, and part numbers, adhering to posted production schedules.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, adhering to housekeeping standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
• Handle materials efficiently and safely during the production process.

Additional Skills/Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in operating molding equipment preferred.
• Ability to follow written instructions and process procedures meticulously.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure the quality of manufactured parts.
• Basic math skills for recording production data accurately.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
