Your Role...

Overall Purpose and Main Objectives:

The Purchasing Kit Associate is responsible for working with the District Sales Officers (DSO), the Institutional Sales department, and the Distribution Center on assembling and shipping kits.  

Responsibilities:

• Review daily status report and changes made from Kit To Order (KTO)
• Monitor stock for Kits and communicate to all involved departments
• Create orders in CW fast paths Work With Orders and Order Maintenance to reserve stock for kits before they are assembled
• Maintain CW fast path Work with Final Goods
• Send Work Order down to Warehouse Quality Control to assemble
• Enter MMS Purchase Orders’s for outgoing retail shipments.
• Problem solve as needed with any issues that arise regarding kits.
• Other duties as assigned by Purchasing Manager

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalency

Requirements:

Proficiency in and knowledge of:

• Personal computers, especially Windows, including Word, Excel.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to train and support:

• AS400 computer programs and PC based programs.
• Handle and coordinate multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to work well alone or with others with minimal supervision.
