Job Summary for Purchasing Clerk : Provide financial, material and clerical support to the business.
Responsibilities for Purchasing Clerk:
- Properly maintain purchasing documents and records
- Compile requests for materials and prepare purchase orders
- Track deliveries of incoming materials and handle inquiries about orders
- Work closely with vendors and customers regarding supply statuses, changes and cancellations
- Compare prices, specifications and delivery dates for bidding orders
- Perform general office duties as assigned including assisting HR and ERP activities
- Some purchasing or related experience
- High school diploma required, additional education preferred
- Experience with Microsoft applications including Excel
- Accuracy and attention to detail
