Purchasing/Work Order Clerk

Salty Boats RJL, Inc. is the premier boat manufacturer of the Stumpnocker and Palmetto Bay boats with three decades in the marine manufacturing industry delivering the highest value boats with excellent level of service, care, and respect to our customers. This position is responsible for the ordering all of the components in the manufacturing of boats, along with intake of all customers work orders for repairs and new motor installations.

• 3 years of purchasing experience preferred.
• Previous experience in the marine industry is preferred, but not needed for the right individual.
• Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; obtaining approval as needed.
• Obtains purchased items by forwarding orders to suppliers; monitoring and expediting orders.
• Prepares customer work orders for service to be performed.
• Communicates with customer on progress of service.
• Maintain all information accessible by sorting and filing documents.
• Maintains digital purchase order inventory and price accuracy through proprietary software.
• Other duties as required.
• Reliability and punctuality required.
• Excellent customer service with a pleasant speaking voice.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Experience in Outlook, Word, and Excel Office products.

Work hours: Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
