Inputs transactions and administers a purchasing and contracts system or database. Being a Purchasing Clerk, Sr interacts with suppliers to obtain favorable pricing terms, product specifications, monitor availability, and optimize savings. Expedites delayed orders and resolves issues with changes, returns, replacements, and credit arrangements. Additionally, Purchasing Clerk, Sr coordinates with internal teams to ensure that procurement needs are met promptly and efficiently. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or team leader. The Purchasing Clerk, Sr works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. What You'll Need
Ability to administer and operate the organization's warehouse, including efficient shipping, receiving, processing, packaging, storing.
Handle ordering of tools, supplies, materials and equipment.
Responsible for receiving and shipping parts in an efficient manner.
Provide project and service support to field colleagues and supports office colleagues as needed.
May provide support for fleet, safety and facilities management programs.

Requirements:
Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience
Minimum Experience: 2 years of purchasing experience
Preferred Experience: (but not required): Familiarity with security, fire and/or banking fields.
