Purchasing Clerk, Sr jobs in Rock Hill, SC

We are seeking a Purchasing Specialist to handle our company's procurement processes efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing goods and services, negotiating with vendors, perform internal inventory audits, and maintaining supplier relationships.

Deine Aufgaben

• Source new suppliers and maintain existing vendor relationships
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers
• Create and track purchase orders and ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliveries
• Create and track RFQs - maintain up-to-date pricing and lead time in the system
• Collaborate with departments to determine procurement needs (perform related administration and clerical duties as assigned)
• Monitor inventory levels and track procurement metrics
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement
• Perform internal inventory audits
• Manage and organize Spare Parts Sales

Dein Profil

• Proven work experience as a Purchasing Specialist or in a similar role
• Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Self-motivated with attention to detail
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and analytical abilities
• Proficient in Excel and willingness to learn purchasing software
• High school diploma
• Preferred Associate Degree in related field
