Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team. As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, supplies, and services. You will work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to manage the supply chain and optimize inventory levels.

Duties:

- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet organizational goals

- Identify and evaluate potential vendors and negotiate contracts

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine procurement needs

- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials

- Oversee the procurement process from requisition to payment

- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels

- Implement and utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems

- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings

- Resolve any vendor performance issues or disputes

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Experience:

- Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of vendor management and supply chain management principles

- Ability to fabricate effective procurement strategies to meet organizational needs

- Excellent negotiation skills to procure materials at competitive prices

- Familiarity with logistics operations and MRP systems

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
