Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team. As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, managing suppliers, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement management and possess excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and improve efficiency
- Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and terms
- Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluations and ongoing communication
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of purchasing activities with business objectives
- Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and excess inventory
- Oversee logistics activities, including transportation, customs clearance, and warehousing
- Utilize Oracle EBS or similar systems to track purchasing activities and maintain accurate records
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new product developments
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Skills:
- Proven experience in procurement management, preferably in a similar industry
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
- Proficiency in using Oracle EBS or similar procurement systems
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms with suppliers
- Solid understanding of contract management and legal requirements
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
