To seek best quality and price for parts and service.
To solicit quotes from potential tooling, parts, raw material, and service suppliers.
Order raw material, cutting tools, shop supplies and building services.
To gather information for the quoting dept on material pricing and deliveries, outside services, technical specifications on customer prints.
Cultivate new and ongoing relationships with quality outside vendors and parts suppliers.
Track order progress to ensure on time deliveries of supplies, products and service.
Coordinate with current production schedule to ensure raw material and supplies are on hand in time so as to not interfere with production.
In the event of work performed outside that has been rejected due to quality or deficiency. I will work with that supplier to repair or replace any substandard parts in a timely manner.
To represent the company in all business dealings in a fair and ethical manner.
