Purchasing Manager manages procurement and purchasing operations and implements the strategy to provide the materials and services to meet organizational requirements for quality, volume, availability, and pricing. Maintains strategic supplier relationships, negotiates contracts, and implements systems for monitoring performance, assessing risk, and responding to changes in demand or disruptions in the supply chain. Being a Purchasing Manager collaborates with other functions to define current and future inventory requirements and manage inventory levels. Implements processes and systems and utilizes technical tools to analyze data and increase responsiveness to material demands. Food & Beverage Purchasing Manager
The Food & Beverage Purchasing Manager works closely with the banquet, restaurant, and lodge operations on coordinating and supervising daily operational buying projects and vendor relationships within the Food & Beverage Department. The position requires high attention to detail, strong communication skills with diplomacy, efficient time management, and self-management. Responsibilities included, but not limited to are, Order Guide Management, Data Entry, Bidding, and Vendor Management. This position reports directly to the Executive Director of Food & Beverage.
