We are actively recruiting a Manufacturing Quality Assurance to become an integral part of our team in Girard, Ohio. This position will assist the Head of Quality in a manufacturing environment in the development of a robust quality assurance program.

Driving continuous improvement in internal and external quality, with direct production support and immediate root cause analysis and corrective actions.

This position will lead the corrective action process at the plant level. This would be accomplished by being directly involved with the analysis of production issues and the coordination of the corrective action process.

Responsibilities :

• Lead and perform plant level problem solving, root cause analysis and corrective action on production related issues.
• Lead and perform continuous improvement projects affecting production quality.
• Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations.
• Performs capability studies, control plan / PFMEA development, and statistical analysis of core production processes.
• Coordinate and maintain customer quality processes regarding APQP, PPAP, and other customer quality programs.
• Conduct nonconforming material review
• Maintain electronic and mechanical calibration program

Technical or functional knowledge :

• Working knowledge of manufacturing methods and quality concepts
• Working knowledge of Manufacturing Processes / Equipment (preferably in Electronics)
• Working knowledge of IPC standards
• Working knowledge of Six Sigma Tools
• Working knowledge of PPAP and APQP
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001

Experience and Essential requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology required- p referably in electrical engineering.
• 2 years' Manufacturing Quality Experience- Ideally electronics manufacturing background.
• Hands on experience conducting root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Knowledge of theory and principles of statistics and statistical process control.
• Strong computer skills including quality control applications, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Experience with internal quality audits.
• Six Sigma Green Belt helpful.
