Job Responsibilities

• Primary role will include activities related to Joint Commission Hospital accreditation, Disease Specific Certifications and other service line distinctions of excellence (for example: SRC, Excellus Blue Distinction)
• Assist to oversee compliance with other regulatory standards such as CMS, CoP and NYS
• Work closely with associates, management, executives, medical staff and the Quality Board of Directors to achieve desired outcomes of the system quality improvement  program
• Provide oversight and guidance to ensure the system complies with regulatory standards and contractual obligations
• Monitor data and activities to assist in the identification of improvement opportunities and risk
• Participate in RCAs, committees and projects 
• Offer guidance and assistance with improvement efforts
• Facilitate Just Culture and encourage a pro-active approach to improving quality, safety and service

Education

• Registered Nurse (BSN preferred) OR College graduate in health related field

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years of hospital/clinical experience
• Regulatory experience highly desired
• Project management experience highly desired
• Team player but able to work independently with good judgement and prioritization
• Must have solid computer experience (Microsoft office, EHR, internet, etc.)

Position Pay Range: $79,000-100,000/year

Starting Pay: Based on experience
