Bitchin’ Sauce, LLC is committed to continual improvement in Food Safety and Product Quality. The Quality Assurance Coordinator position is established to aid in the development and maintenance of all Quality and Food Safety programs, as well as compliance with government regulations and 3rd party certifications.

The Quality Assurance Coordinator will support the Quality Assurance Manager with the following:

• Assist the VP of Operations with all seen and unforeseen tasks.
• On-going upkeep and improvement of the Bitchin’ Sauce, LLC Food Safety Plan.
• Staff training on all Food Safety and Quality policies.
• Assist with ongoing staff compliance to all Food Safety policies.
• Manage and coordinate any certified lab testing, typically for pathogen analysis, allergen testing, and shelf-life testing.
• Assist with HACCP Plan management, improvement, and Critical Control Point Verification.
• Log Verification and Batch Record Management.
• Recall management and trace-back compliance.
• Emergency/Crisis prevention and resolution.
• Internal quality concerns with ingredients, vendors, or finished product holds.
• Customer Complaint communication and resolution.
• Assist with the management and development of all 3rd Party verifications including:

o Organic Certification
o Project Non-GMO certification
o Kosher Certification
o Future product certifications Bitchin’ Sauce, LLC opts to participate in.

• Communication of all Quality or Food Safety concerns to VP of Operations and CEO.
