The Quality Assurance Specialist (QA) is responsible for assisting the Director of Quality Assurance with development and implementation of Quality Assurance plans, procedures and programs in compliance with Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) and Department of Energy (DOE) requirements. The Specialist will facilitate and assist in the Quality Assurance Program and Process Improvement Programs. The Specialist will assist in the development of surveillance and assessment schedules and conduct periodic quality surveillances, audits and assessments of policies, procedures, and processes of Northern New Mexico Integrated Security, LLC (N2MIS) functions. The QA Specialist is also responsible for administration of the Issues Management Program. The Specialist will conduct quality analyses, including risk, causal, deficiency, and trend analyses in support of Department of Energy (DOE) Contractor Assurance System requirements. Additionally, the QA Specialist will provide employee training and education in quality principles as required.
