Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Quality Coordinator is to ensure that the facility, and laboratory, remains compliant with the requirements of IATF 16949 and ISO 17025. General duties include the monitoring of quality assurance systems including instrumentation calibration, maintenance, crosschecks, methods, procedures, raw materials, internal auditing, and standard updates.

Job Duties/Tasks:

• Uphold and follow Quality Policies in order to ensure compliance with IATF 16949 certification and ISO 17025 accreditation.
• Maintain QC Lab equipment to include assurance that instruments are calibrated according to external and internal requirements.
• Maintain sample stockrooms, laboratory supplies, tools, and other resources to assist in completing tasks.
• Assist in preparing reports and test certificates.
• Provide technical problem solving support; assist in completion of Technical Inquiries
• Communicate with various departments and salespersons as needed on projects.
• Control of non-conforming product.
• Authorization and control of rework.
• Revising and/or establishing laboratory instructions.
• Completion of PPAP, customer SQM reviews, customer packaging agreements, and other routine documentation requests.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Related Science.
• 3 years of Lab experience minimum.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point a must).
• Good written and oral communication skills required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
