Quality Management System Analyst
Purpose:- Continental Tide has an immediate need for a Quality Management System Analyst who will be a key support to Senior Leadership and Quality Assurance. The location of this position is in Virginia Beach, VA.
Job Description:- Continental Tide is actively seeking an experienced Quality Management System Analyst to bolster our dynamic Fleet Services Group. As a Quality Management System Analyst, you will work closely with our Quality Assurance Manager to assess, analyze, and improve our business processes in accordance with ISO standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, develop action plans, and implement sustainable solutions. Additionally, you will assist in conducting audits and reviews to ensure compliance with ISO standards and best practices.
Responsibilities:- Assist in conducting process assessments and gap analyses to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives in accordance with ISO standards.
- Collaborate with the internal teams to develop action plans and monitor progress towards goals.
- The ability to recognize changing one document may affect another document.
- Perform ISO audits, track audit schedules, assist in audit scheduling.
- Provide training and support to internal teams on ISO standards and best practices.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
- Extensive proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to take raw data provided to create charts, graphs, etc. periodically.
- Strong attention to detail when making changes to documents, revision level, filing documents.
- Maintain a digital repository for specifications, be the 'authoritative source' for correct revision levels.
Experience and Skills- Must possess a bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, or related field.
- 3 to 4 years of experience in business process improvement, quality management, or related field.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desired Qualifications:- Certification in ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001) is a plus.
- Experience supporting the DoD Industrial base is a plus.
Security Requirements:- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance to access military facilities, naval shipyards, private shipyards, and Naval installations.
- Due to export control regulations, this role is open to U.S. citizens only.
Travel Requirements:- Occasional Travel- up t0 10% within and outside of the continental United States.
- If a position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:- Ability to lift, carry and transport heavy equipment and boxes. The exact weight requirements will be determined by the specific job, but no less than 30 lbs.
- Ability to work on and climb ladders, work in extreme temperature environments, aboard ships, in shipyards, under industrial conditions and in confined spaces.
