The Director Quality Assurance will be responsible for developing, implementing, and services that meet external and internal requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations.
Essential Functions:

Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures

Oversee all aspects of quality assurance, including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to meet quality goals

Act as a critical point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally

Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on product quality and safety matters
-
Review and analyze quality performance data to identify trends and areas of improvement

Ensure compliance with industry quality standards and regulations
-
Coordinate with external quality assurance auditors and technicians to ensure legal compliance
-
Work with internal teams to increase customer satisfaction by improving the quality of the products

Knowledge and Skills:

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite in addition to project management and analytics software

Knowledge of the Federal inspection process, safety requirements and legal standards

Working knowledge of quality system requirements

Thorough understanding of, or ability to problem solve using critical thinking to identify challenges and/or inefficiencies with a sense of urgency

Strong communication skills with a diverse group of individuals
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines

Ability to work nights and weekends. We operate 24/7/365
Education and Experience:
-
Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred
-
5 years' experience in a quality assurance and/or self-inspection role, preferably in a leadership position

Must possess a valid driver's license
-
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
-
Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)
-
Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, and a background check after accepting a conditional offer of employment
