Quality Assurance Director is responsible for the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure adherence to production quality standards. Monitors and audits process, material, and product testing against established standards and conducts a continuous analysis of quality defects and deviations. Being a Quality Assurance Director identifies deficiencies or gaps in testing activities and develops solutions to ensure adequate and robust quality processes. Optimizes processes to comply with existing and new regulatory requirements. Additionally, Quality Assurance Director typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Quality Assurance Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. He/she will adhere to OPWDD regulations and agency policies and will providedata analysis relative to quality assurance andimprovement outcomes. They will train and support teams in the areas of habilitationplanning and other tasks related to the effective delivery ofservices and supports. Some Responsibilities are as follows:
Over sees reconciliation of errors or omission prior to submitting claims for payments
Assures that standards and timelines are met in all service related documents
Receives notices of reportable incidents; Works to secure a site of an alleged incident, including immediate situation controls and immediate safeguards.
Conducts investigations, writes comprehensive reports
Education/Experience Required:
Bachelors Degree with 2 years experience or Associates Degree with Five Years experience in Human Service. Computer Skill are required. Must have a valid New York State Driver’s license and good driving record.
