Job Description:
The Tester is a technical role which forms part of the systems team and is responsible for planning and performing various types of testing. This includes regression, quality assurance, and release testing via different tools include automation.
Responsibilities for this Role
Collaborates with the Solution Architect and other Systems Team members to plan and execute regression testing across product and platform releases (both automated and manual).
Participates in the development of common and consistent testing practices, processes, and tool use with testers on development teams.
Collaborates with business analysts and customer representatives on product verification.
Documentation and knowledge transfer to SMB and support in Transition to Operations.
Skills and Experience needed for this Role
Mandatory
Overall experience (10 years) in technology development projects.
Experience (6 years) executing test cases and/or planning test activities.
Experience (2 years) with ServiceNow including experience with the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
Experience (2 years) developing test plans for functional, integration and regression and automated testing on large integrated products such as ServiceNow.
Experience (2 years) developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts.
Clear communication skills and the ability to explain testing considerations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to understand complex technical requirements.
Leadership skills and the ability to work across multiple teams and priorities.
Experience (2 years) participating in Agile/iterative based projects.
Physically located in Canada
Willing to work in the Pacific Timezone
