    Collins Aerospace is looking for a Supplier Quality Manager at the Colorado Springs, CO site. This position primarily serves as the tactical leader of the product line Supplier Quality Engineers, and supports the Colorado Springs manufacturing site.

    This is an ONSITE position located in Colorado Springs, CO. This role is eligible for relocation.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Leads Supplier Quality Team in Colorado Springs addressing tactical day to day issues including members from current supplier quality team.
    • Develops and leads implementation of solutions to nonconformities and to satisfy quality issues raised by possible drawing, design and customer inputs.
    • Drives processes to identify and manage risk in product development, (PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow, PPAP and Control Plans, etc.) with suppliers.
    • Directs Escape management procedures, root cause analysis, develops recommendations for corrective action for design problems for supplier produced products & processes.
    • Coordinate cross-functionally to address supply base nonconformances and develop recovery plans.
    • Provides analysis of customer quality requirements against external procedures and processes to ensure compliance.
    • Leads onsite supplier audits/assessments (QMS, Manufacturing Process Reviews, Measurement System Analysis, etc.).
    • Position will report directly to Senior Manager of IMS Supplier Quality.
    • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and non-verbal), must be able to quickly and concisely summarize complicated technical topics.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
    • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
    • Previous Leadership experience
    • Previous professional experience of AS9100/ISO 9001 and AS9102 standards.
    • Experience conducting root cause investigations using a range of Root Cause Analysis tools (Fault tree/ Cause and effect diagram/ fishbone / etc.)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Program and or technical project management experience
    • Experience with external customers
    • Aerospace industry experience
    • AS9145 / APQP / PPAP experience
    • Manufacturing experience in mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic assemblies.
    • J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, IPC-620 experience
    • ASQ CQE / Six Sigma certifications
    • MRB experience
    • Must be able to travel 25-30% both national and international.

    The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
