Job description

The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable standards. Responsible for the design and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that quality standards are met. Will give support to all other departments as required. Performs a variety of tasks and leads and directs the work of others.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Perform internal audits. Address non-conformities from previous internal and external audits.
• Assists the management, and manufacturing team in daily production meetings and reports.
• Ensure that organizational systems and training are in place.
• Take the lead role in the organization of procedural development for compliance with ISO standards.
• Responsible for maintenance of inspection reports and records.
• Calibration equipment (maintenance, records, new equipment)
• Work Instruction Development (Quality plans, rework, etc)
• Material Review Board (MRB) Dispositions
• COPQ Metrics
• Supervise the quality staff. Schedule the quality department daily activities, assign priorities, and monitor the assignments until completion.
• 5 years of Quality Management Experience in Defense AS9100 Rev D
• Extensive experience interpreting Defense requirements and specifications
• Extensive experience communicating Defense requirements and specifications internally
• All other job and duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• 5 to 10 years experience in ISO 9001 and ISO AS9100 required.
• Familiarity with ITAR requirements
• Lead Auditor Training
• Problem-solving and reporting
• Educational Experience: College Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience in related industry
• Engineering Degree
