Quality Assurance Engineering Manager manages inspections of raw materials, equipment, processes, and finished products. Implements quality standards and protocols for quality assurance testing models. Job Summary
Works in collaboration with the Company Management and QA Teams, to ensure that all Riverence sites meet criteria required by third party certifications as well as international standards for importing and exporting product. Must be familiar with all aspects and elements of a quality system including but not limited to specifications, corrective action plans (CRA), quality programs and continuous quality improvement programs. Ability to create processes to comply with all laws and regulations.

This position coordinates with various departments and leadership team within the Company. This position will directly supervise the QA department under the supervision of the QA department head.
Work Environment
This job will be in both a professional office environment as well as in a processing plant with cold temperatures and humidity. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The job also involves visits to the various Company locations on an as needed basis that are outdoors or inside processing plants or other commercial and agricultural buildings, which may have weather conditions, temperature changes, wet environments, and loud noises.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The ability to lift and carry 25 pounds. Site visits include working in inclement weather (heat, cold, humidity).
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position working on-site at the Buhl Processing Plant and includes spending time on the processing floor. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. with an occasional Saturday or early morning for audits.
