Invio Automation’s Solutions division specializes in single station robotic cells, multi-station fabrication & assembly lines, bonding & welding technologies, vision systems, and packaging process. Application capabilities within our Solutions division include thermal bonding, web handling, force plotting, heat staking, high viscosity pumps, precision dispensing, impulse bag sealing, and needle bending. Invio Automation’s Technologies division includes highly differentiated Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) for heavyweight applications, turnkey assembly lines, welding automation, and custom lift-assist & secure tools for safety critical applications.

This role requires the ability to cultivate a culture of exceptional quality by working with Invio Automation engineering, operations, and outside vendors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze and interpret engineering drawings and other technical data.
- Visit new/existing vendors to develop relationships to ensure best practices are established and followed.
- Work with corporate purchasing to identify new vendors with capacity.
- Work with current vendors to explain our expectations in terms of quality.
- Work with Invio Automation engineering, operations, and outside vendors
- Work with other Invio Automation engineering, operations, and outside vendors.
- Develop and implement quality standards.
- Develop plans to track and manage company waste.
- Maintain inspection equipment.
- Perform internal quality checks (processing mating parts together/verifying purchased parts fit together).
- Preform internal quality checks utilizing Micrometers, thread gauges, calipers, height gauges, etc.
- Preform inspections utilizing laser tracker and Polyworks to generate inspection reports.
- Inspect print packages prior to release.
- Assist with evaluating machining efficiency.
- Communicate with team members to solve quality issues.
- Work with Invio Automation engineering, operations, and outside vendors.
- team to maintain use of our Tool Quality Checklist for all projects.

Other Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to comprehend mechanical and controls related drawings to establish operational opportunities for premature wear or failure of made or purchased items.
- Strong attention to detail
- MS Office Tools/Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint required)
- Adobe Acrobat Professional PDF Software – proficient for use of illustration markups; or use of a similar PDF (electronic) markup tool
- Preference given to individuals proficient in the use of 3D modeling software.
- Knowledge of Polyworks or ability to learn
- Knowledge of laser trackers or ability to learn
- Customer Interaction/Customer Service skills required (some positions involve direct customer interface)

High School diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum 1 year in a shop environment. Forklift experience required.
