QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of five years of experience in construction, with a focus on heavy civil projects.
Demonstrated experience in quality assurance, quality control, or inspection activities within the construction industry.
3. Physical Capability: Must be physically capable of walking over rough terrain and standing for long periods of time to conduct on-site inspections.
4. Knowledge: Thorough understanding of construction processes, techniques, materials, and quality standards within the heavy civil sector.
5. Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with applicable regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures governing construction projects.
6. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to identify non-conformities, deficiencies, and deviations from quality standards.
7. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders and prepare comprehensive inspection reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Quality Assurance Oversight: Monitor and assess construction activities to ensure compliance with established quality standards, regulations, policies, and procedures.
2. Inspection and Documentation: Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify construction workmanship, materials, and compliance with specifications. Document findings, observations, and non-conformities accurately and comprehensively.
3. Compliance Evaluation: Evaluate contractor performance and deliverables against contractual requirements, construction plans, and specifications. Identify any deviations or deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
4. Quality Control Procedures: Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures, checklists, and inspection plans to ensure consistency and effectiveness in monitoring construction quality.
5. Non-Conformance Management: Identify and report non-conformances, deficiencies, and deviations from quality standards. Work with contractors and project teams to develop corrective action plans and verify their implementation.
6. Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and guidance on construction methods, materials, and quality standards to project teams and contractors.
7. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with project stakeholders, including contractors, project managers, engineers, and regulatory agencies, to address quality-related issues, resolve conflicts, and ensure project objectives are met.
8. Training and Education: Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the awareness and understanding of quality requirements among project personnel.
9. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and quality enhancements. Propose and implement initiatives to enhance the overall quality assurance program.
