PURPOSE: Maintain a quality system geared toward customer satisfaction and company profitability.
- Maintain department in a cost-effective manner.
- Interface with other departments to assure both product quality and efficiencies of processes are maintained.
- Work with sales personnel to establish customer specifications and requirements.
- Purchase and maintain proper equipment to ensure an accurate measuring and testing system.
- Maintain a good quality system with an emphasis on quality improvement.
- Interface with customers to resolve quality issues and establish appropriate corrective action.
- Assist in team problem solving with statistical data and backup information as necessary.
- Maintain an effective “defective material procedure” with a timely disposition of all product.
- Oversee the vision inspection system and appropriate calibration of all test equipment.
- Knowledge of location of C-Pro in system and ISO procedures.
- Back Up to SQF Practitioner
- Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental and Department of Health requirements.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, Associates Degree required.
- Proven ability to lead employees in a positive manner.
- Minimum of five years quality experience.
- Working knowledge of C-Pro, Ignition, and team building.
- Ability to work in awkward positions
- Minimum lifting of 25 lbs.
- Ability to reach and lift 25 lbs. above shoulder height
- Ability to grasp and manipulate small objects with either hand
- Minimum corrected / uncorrected vision of 20/40
