We are hiring a responsible Housekeeping Manager to manage our cleaning crew to ensure facilities are clean, well-organized and meet safety standards. This position requires you to oversee all cleaning operations, including the training and monitoring of staff. Housekeeping Manager responsibilities include maintaining work schedules, ordering supplies, organizing supplies and equipment and assessing cleaning results. You will ensure that all work meets our quality standards and comply with all applicable regulations. To be successful in this role, you should have strong organizational, analytical and leadership skills, being able to organize staff schedules, implement safety measures and prepare reports. No experience required but you must be driven.
- Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and standards to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Manage and supervise a team of housekeeping staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of supplies and equipment
- Oversee the inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints related to housekeeping services
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to address any maintenance issues or repairs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role (Suggested but not required)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff at all levels
- Attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality service
- Proficient in using housekeeping software or systems
- Knowledge of hotel industry standards and practices is preferred
- Bi-Lingual (Preferred but not required). Must be able to effectively communicate with all team members.
