QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER is responsible for the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure adherence to production quality standards. Monitors and audits process, material, and product testing against established standards and conducts a continuous analysis of quality defects and deviations. SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
The Quality Manageris responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining and managing the quality control systems and processes designed to ensure part conformity to customer specifications. This position is also a key participant and leader in the continuous improvement efforts of the plant’s products, processes and the QMS. The position manages all quality functions. This position is a highly visible and responsible role that is accountable to uphold the quality standards of the organization while working to meet the goals of the business.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
· BS Degree in business, management or other related discipline.
· At least 7 -10 years progressive experience in Quality Management. Preferably automotive environment.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Normal work environment - office, factory and store room with minimal exposure to noise, odors, dust and drafts. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; balance and stoop; and push pull, transfer, move, lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally 35 lbs. The employee must regularly stand; walk and reach with hands and arms.
