    We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to perform inspection, testing, and measurement of in-process and finished parts, as well as routine inspections under the supervision of the Quality Manager in order to support company objectives. This position will complete required documentation and assist in ensuring that quality standards are met within the department. This position will ensure that all document control, product compliance, and corrective actions adhere to the requirements of the QMS (Quality Management System), ISO, and customer specifications.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure that products conform to specifications of size, weight, dimensions using the appropriate measuring equipment to inspect and test products
    • Analyze inspection and testing results to determine the approval status of first, in-line, and last pieces of production
    • Collaborate with other departments to review and investigate quality issues/ non-conformances for internal and external customers
    • Complete, process, and file required Quality documentation according to established company procedures
    • Assist with maintaining the QMS (Quality Management System)
    • Assist with communicating established quality standards and procedures
    • Conduct calibration on calipers and micrometers
    • Assist with the creation and maintenance of Work Instructions

    Skills:

    • Proficient with using laboratory measurement devices
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and related materials
    • Solid understanding of the root cause analysis process
    • Solid written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong decision-making and critical-thinking skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently within deadlines
    • Computer skills: Microsoft Office

    Experience:

    • 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance
    • 2 years of experience with measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and gages
    • At least 1 year of experience with calibrations, helpful

    Education:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Internal Auditor certification, helpful
