QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER is responsible for the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure adherence to production quality standards. Monitors and audits process, material, and product testing against established standards and conducts a continuous analysis of quality defects and deviations. Being a QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER identifies deficiencies or gaps in testing activities and develops solutions to ensure adequate and robust quality processes. Optimizes processes to comply with existing and new regulatory requirements. Additionally, QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • The Company

    As Quality Assurance Specialist, your primary responsibility is to plan, coordinate, and direct quality assurance programs designed to ensure safety, regulatory compliance and installation quality.

    • Direct / Oversee day to day quality activities
    • Direct / Supervise Quality-Training personnel
    • Work directly with Production Manager and communicate with customer’s regarding jobs (daily)
    • DVIR: Truck inspection/Maintenance
    • Work with production manager on safety site inspections (ladders, scaffolding and proper use of equipment) daily.
    • Field check – quality
    • Material check in and out per truck daily
    • Ensure that in-process and final quality checks are completed
    • Provide monthly reports to the Production Manager
    • Understand and support regulatory & workmanship standards 
    • Schedule and conduct monthly internal audits
    • File quality records
    • Must be trained and familiar with general safety
    • Manage direct reports and assist with the training program
    • Work with current installers on staying up to date on safety videos and certifications
    • Work with production manager on safety meetings
    • First aid kit inspections
    • Fire extinguisher
    • SDS books
    • Perform other functions and responsibilities as assigned

    To Be Successful

    • High School diploma or GED
    • Minimum of three (3) years of experience 
    • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record to drive a company vehicle
    • Ability to follow processes and safety policies
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Valid driver’s license 
    • Forklift experience preferred
    • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

    Schedule: Monday - Friday, Saturday

     

    Wage: $25.00 - $30.00 

     

    Position requires a drug test and motor vehicle report to be completed, contingent upon employment.

    • Lift a minimum of 50lbs
    • Climb ladders and scaffolding 
    • Able to bend, twist, and turn body at shoulders, waist, knees
    • Stand for extended periods of time
