Additionally, Quality Assurance Nurse requires an associate's degree/bachelor's degree and is licensed to practice nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Job Summary |
The Home Health Quality Improvement/Utilization Review Manager is responsible for analyzing patient data, and consistency of OASIS documentation and assessment processes. The manager will work with clinical staff to clarify and correct documentation and data integrity issues, as it relates to OASIS, Plan of Care and Visit Notes. The manager audits documentation, compiles, and reviews clinical performance data for quality and regulatory compliance, participates in activities to support survey readiness, provides education to support clinical development and positive outcomes. Manager will work closely with the agency leadership and is responsible for the rules and regulations of state and federal regulatory agencies.
