Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Bus Driver to join our transportation team. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a bus following a set schedule and route
- Ensure the safety of passengers during boarding, travel, and exiting the bus
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers
- Maintain a clean and organized bus interior
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Communicate effectively with passengers and respond to inquiries
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a Bus Driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to operate a bus safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience as a Charter Bus Driver
- Commercial driving experience is a must
- SPAB / School Bus Driver Certification is a plus
- Bilingual abilities are advantageous for communicating with diverse passengers
- Familiarity with educating passengers on bus safety procedures
- Strong customer service skills to ensure passenger satisfaction
