    JOB SUMMARY:
    The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for Training new and underperforming Utility Locate Technicians, those that have certification requirements or that have been identified by the Field Supervisor with potential Quality or skill set concerns. This position reports to the Field Supervisor in the area and will be instrumental in helping the team meet customer expectations. This position will have daily audit requirements, possess the knowledge and written skill to do damage investigations, trouble shoot utilities that may be more difficult to locate and perform daily locates as needed. This position will be primarily 40 hours a week, limited Overtime and could involve some travel less than 2% possible for short overnights stays for training or meetings and would be exempt from On Call requirements.
    JOB QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
    • 3 years’ experience in contract line locating
    • Strong ability to train
    • Must have and maintain a clean driver’s record
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Must have Time Management Skills
    • Must be able to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
    • Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities
    • Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
    • Must be able to understand all safety policies within company
    • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
    WORK ENVIRONMENT:
    • Must be able to wear required PPE as assigned by HS&E Manager
    • Ability to work in extreme outdoor weather
