    Registered Nurse (RN) - Quality Care Management at Kadlec Regional Medical Center

    Shift Details: Full-time, 40 hours per week, 8 hours daily, Day shift.

    Under the general direction of the Director, Quality and Risk, and Manager, Clinical Data Analytics, abstracts, analyzes, collates, reports, maintains and presents information for outcomes for measured patient populations in support of clinical performance improvement activities; Initiates clinical care quality improvement and performance monitoring in collaboration with department staff, leadership and providers; Works with the Medical, Nursing and Ancillary teams in the medical center and outpatient settings to improve patient care; and remains an active member of applicable measure outcome committees. The clinical areas of focus are patient restraints chart reviews, patient mortality chart reviews, and facilitating/leading a total joints performance improvement team.

    Required qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Science of Nursing or higher from an Accredited educational institution.
    • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
    • 2 years recent clinical experience in a hospital acute care nursing unit.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Data abstraction experience.
    • Electronic medical records experience.
    • Software applications experience, which includes Word Processing and Excel.
    • ICU Nursing Unit experience
    • Peri-Operative Nursing Unit experience (Surgical Nursing Unit, Pre-op/Post-op, PACU)
