    • Leading the day-to-day work of subordinates assigned to the team.
    • Lead the team in identifying, distributing and balancing workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established work flow, skill level and/or occupational specialization.
    • Perform related advisory duties regarding the quality and safety programs.
    • Provide recommendations and/or alternatives to aid headquarters in making a final decision.
    • Investigate delays and major problem areas to determine causes of same and corrective action required.
    • Monitor contractors compliance with operations and safety programs and the inspection of worksites.

    Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1. experience monitoring contractor's compliance with operations and safety programs; 2. experience providing guidance in the daily evaluation and surveillance of the contractors quality assurance and safety programs; 3. experience conducting in-process audits and inspections to identify areas of deficiency and recommending methods of improvement to production and quality management programs and processes; and 4. experience with quality assurance functions related to the production, inspection, and procurement processes.

    Education cannot be substituted for experience.
