Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Quality Assurance Data Review

The QA LPN will be responsible for reviewing clinician documentation, care-plan, OASIS, etc., to ensure compliance according to agency, state and federal regulations. Ensure services are delivered according to physician orders and the plan of care. Provide QAPI education or documentation training as necessary to field staff. Provides home nursing care, under the direction and supervision of an RN, based on agency policies and procedures, through the competent application of the nursing process in the home.
Education and Formal Training: Successful completion of an LPN program. Licensed to practice nursing in the State of North Carolina. Current CPR or obtain within 30 days of hire.
Must have a current/valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a satisfactory driving record.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Demonstrates a high level of mental and emotional tolerance and even temperament when dealing with ill people; uses tact, sensitivity, sound judgment, and a professional attitude when relating with patients, families, and co-workers at all times. Actively functions as a patient advocate. Must develop thorough knowledge of home care emergency policies and procedures, fire, safety, disaster, and infection control policies.
