Additionally, Quality Assurance Nurse, Sr. requires an associate's degree/bachelor's degree and is licensed to practice nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a Quality Assurance Nurse, Sr. typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. The Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement Nurse has primary responsibility to review OASIS Assessments and other medical record documents and claims to assess for accuracy of service planning and quality of care provided, and to assess whether these services have met practice and ethical standard requirements and State and Federal Guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: COS-C or similar preferred
Experience: At least 2 years Clinical experience in Home Health Care in a Medicare Certified Agency
Licensure: RN
