We are currently seeking a dynamic and skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. This role is integral to ensuring the quality and safety of our manufactured products. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing our quality assurance program, conducting internal audits, and implementing corrective actions for non-compliance. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Developing and implementing quality control systems in line with industry standards and company requirements. 2. Performing routine inspections and quality tests, identifying and resolving product and production issues. 3. Ensuring that all sanitation, SQF, HACCP, IATF, and CMM standards are met consistently. 4. Conducting internal audits to measure and assure adherence to established QA standards for manufacturing processes, production, and service delivery. 5. Identifying areas for quality control improvement and implementing new methods accordingly. 6. Collaborating with operations management and staff to implement and maintain proper documentation of all quality assurance controls. 7. Participating in the review of engineering designs to contribute quality assurance requirements and considerations. 8. Assisting in the development and delivery of training materials and courses related to quality assurance and compliance. 9. Investigating and setting standards for quality and health and safety, ensuring that manufacturing processes comply with standards at both national and international level.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry. 3. Strong knowledge of quality assurance terminologies, tools, and standards. 4. Proficiency in executing sanitation, SQF, HACCP, IATF, and CMM protocols. 5. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a strong attention to detail. 6. Ability to analyze data and create and review processes. 7. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. 8. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. 9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities simultaneously. 10. Certification in quality control is strongly preferred.
